Washington's largest gambling employer says the new headquarters will create 50 jobs.

Gaming company Maverick Gaming LLC is moving its headquarters to Kirkland.

Maverick Gaming's new headquarters, previously located in Nevada, is located at 12530 NE 144th St. and will support at least 50 workplaces, according to a company press release.

Maverick Gaming operates 19 card rooms in Washington, north of Kirkland and Tukwila and south of Lakewood, and a handful of properties in Colorado and Nevada.

According to the press release, Maverick Gaming employs over 2,000 Washingtoners and is the only gaming company in the state with a unionized workforce.

The company's press release also mentioned the company's support for Senate draft 5212, which if passed would enable sports betting within the state.
