Belinda Norton seems higher in her 40s than she does in her 20s because of resistance coaching
Belinda Norton, 45, from Australia struggled with obesity all her life and then lost 19 kilograms.
This teacher is very popular on Instagram and she became popular for her fitness story and weight loss tips. She struggled with obesity and cellulite until she was 35 years old.
“I've always tried to lose weight on strict diets and I managed to lose 5 to 6 kilograms, but after a month the kilograms just came back. It took me a long time to realize that dieting is not the key to looking good. "If you want to look good, you have to eat, but you also have to choose the right foods."
Her diet is based on lean meats, vegetables, fruits, and large amounts of water, which she drinks on a daily basis.
She also works out at least twice a week and recommends weight training instead of cardio.
“Try to run less and do less cardio exercise. "I found that too much running was counterproductive to my body shape."
“Basically, all women think that doing endless cardio will make them lose the most weight, but that's just not true. Resistance exercises produce much better results. This way, you will melt away the excess body fat while increasing and sculpting your muscle mass.
"When I started doing this type of exercise (strength training), I sorted out my weight."
The recipe for a slim line isn't difficult, claims Norton.
"If you want to get rid of fat and cellulite, throw yourself into weight training and body sculpting," she concludes.
